Since I'm forever consigning myself to the 9th Circle, I was pleasantly surprised to find I only qualify for Level 1: Limbo

You encounter a seven-walled castle, and within those walls you find rolling fresh meadows illuminated by the light of reason, whereabout many shades dwell. You share company with Caesar, Homer, Virgil, Socrates, and Aristotle. There is no punishment here, and the atmosphere is peaceful, yet sad.

Hmm...a virtuous pagan illuminated by the light of reason. Sounds good to me.

Hi, Diane!

I liked the part about "the atmosphere is peaceful, yet sad." I've had a lot of days like this right here on earth.

So instead of saying, "My life is a hell on earth," it would be more accurate for me to say, "My life is a Limbo on earth."
