I'm turning our library into my new, improved Minimalist library. These posts on Zen Habits and Unclutterer have some good advice.
Actually, I don't need their advice. I wanted to do it anyway and I just like hearing that I'm right.

Yeah, Jim was a great one for saving books. He'd read it once and it would go up on the shelf and then he'd tell me "You have to read this." Except I'd always have piles of books of my own that I had to read, and I would have to be Evelyn Wood on steroids to get through everything.
So it was a relief to say to myself, "All outs are in free" and get rid of all those books I "had" to read and then start from scratch, probably with a library card.
